About The Goodway
The Goodway is a community collaboration started by Kingston businessman Phillip Brown of Brown’s Dining Solutions www.browns.ca. The Goodway aims to make a lasting impact on the Kingston community through enhanced community involvement, economic participation, and a reduction of the barriers to employment and education. The Goodway provides volunteers and employees with a chance to learn new skills and obtain work experience. Volunteer opportunities at The Goodway allow participants to gain valuable on-the-job training in retail operations, customer service, and merchandising while developing important employment skills such as teamwork, leadership, interpersonal communications, and self-advocacy skills.
We Provide Services To Both Job Seekers And Employers
Our mission is to enable work opportunities and skills development to people who face employment barriers. We serve youth, adults, and newcomers, including those with physical and developmental disabilities.

What can I donate?
It is hard to say, “No, thank you” to a donation since this is what our organization depends on. Unfortunately, The Goodway cannot accept some items for reasons which include safety hazards, inability to repair items, and garbage disposal fees.
